China Fintech Fast Track - HK Fintech Week
HK Fintech Week is one of the world's first cross-border financial technology event, taking place in Hong Kong, Asia's financial capital, and in Shenzhen, China's Silicon Valley. With it's aim to promote and support cross-border business amongst Fintech startups in Asia, the client sought to initiate a "Mainland China Fintech Fast Track" challenge as complementary to the main event.

• Provide opportunities and resources for mainland Chinese startups to enter Hong Kong's market and go global.

36Kr Global helped to organise and design the format of the challenge, including:
• Marketing and recruitment
• Facilitation between client, participating startups and judges for each round of the challenge
Over a period of 4 months, over a 100 mainland Chinese fintech startups submitted their solutions to the challenge.
The challenge was held over 3 rounds with experienced investors and business leaders as judges. The final 3 winners were provided with key resources from the local HK government, as well as the judges, to support their expansion into the HK market.
